Samsung Introduces Its New 512GB SSD

Samsung has introduced its 512GB solid state drive (SSD) that will be the first to utilize the company's high performance toggle-mode DDR NAND flash memory. This drive will offer a maximum sequential read/write speed of 250MB/sec and 220MB/sec respectively, which is quite impressive. If it manages to give us a significant bump in terms of performance without having to break the bank, we'd really look forward to this. Production will begin in July, and Samsung is expecting this new SSD to be used in high-end notebooks, though pricing of the drive wasn't mentioned just yet.
